Totally new to these games, any tips?

Got warhammer 3 recently. I'm enjoying it so far but I'm totally new to the total war franchise. Is there anything I should keep a look out for when it comes to micromanagement of settlements and economy etc?

Check some youtube vids on how unit control works (recommendation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16kmJWy1j7U), makes fighting battles much more fun. Try to focus on the rock-paper-scissors system first in battles and use magic (e.g. have a spellcaster in every army), its very strong! Aside from that: Just have fun and play the way you enjoy.
Non-Steam games totally washed out/extreme contrast on Sony TV with Steam Link Hardware?

I’m using the Steam Link hardware with my Sony Bravia A90J. I just tried launching a non-Steam game and the colors were washed out. I tried another and it was totally fine. I tried another one and it was not only washed out, but the contrast also went crazy with black/dark colors being basically completely overexposed to the point where the entire screen was bright white and it was almost impossible to read anything! On my PC screen all looks fine and correct.
I’m on the TV’s game mode. I tried messing with some HDMI HDR and color space options on the tv, but no change.
The crazy thing is if I press the view button (aka back or select) on my Xbox one controller, that Steam menu displays fine with correct brightness/contrast. If I press the Xbox button, that Steam menu is totally washed out like the game.
Any thoughts, especially since it’s not all games, only two (so far) and both are non-Steam games?

There's been lots of posts with similar sounding issues here lately. Maybe it's an issue valve have introduced and need to fix, or maybe a GPU driver issue.

Distance incremental is a generaly fast incremental with small time walls and tons of content, its got 6 made-in mods that can be intertwined in any way. Its kept me playing for a really long time now, as updated come out often and a refactor of the game has just been completed.
Tons of QoL features and unique gameplay , an active comunity on the discord and definitely worth a play

Totally lost - linking IO account to Epic Games

I have Hitman 1 and 2 on steam, which are linked to my IO account. I have just downloaded Hitman 3 starter pack on Epic and understand that I can still import all my existing stuff to it but I have no idea how to do so.
Running the game prompts me to create an IO account but when I enter the existing email it tells me that an account already exists (well duh!) but with no way to enter a password or link Hitman 3 to it.
I've been to the profile transfer site and can get as far as exporting from Steam but then it says there is no account to export to (well duh again - I have not been able to link to Epic) and won't let me get any further.
What do I do? Or was I simply wrong to think I could link the starter pack to my existing progress.

After a fair amount more digging I have found out that I had to log out of my account on the IO webpage and then choose to login using my Epic account username and password, after which it then prompted me as to whether I wanted to link the two accounts together.
Seriously - why was there not some kind of link button when I was signed in with my IO account? This was not at all intuitive.
I then when through the profile transfer process successfully (profile.hitman.com)
When I loaded Hitman 3 there was no longer any prompt to login and I was then able to at least see my progress and items from Hitman 1 and 2. However this did not allow me to play the levels.
I then went to another page to try and import the levels from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 (https://account.ioi.dk/claim/h3/pc/accesspass) and which at first seemed to indicate it would work - it recognised I had Hitman 1 and Hitman 2, but not the expansion pass for Hitman 2) but then when I tried to 'Claim' them it went to a blank page, the claim button greyed out and nothing happened. It now won't let me try again and I don't have those levels in Hitman 3 still.
I'm not sure if this is because something went wrong, or simply that you can't import into the starter pack (in which case I wish they had let us know before I went to all of this trouble) but either way, this whole process was way more complicated and shambolic than it had any need to be.
